It happened again this month.  It happens every year right around this time.  My anniversary came around again.  The anniversary of my 35th birthday that is.  Don’t ask me to tell you how many, but lets just say that only a few more and my son and I will be the same age!  

Last issue I wrote a rant hoping that we would get some of you guys to send in comments in response.  I got plenty of readers telling me they agree whole heartedly as well as condemning me for being anti American.  I guess when you say anything contrary to the Sheepican agenda you are anti American.  Hell, it worked for the last administration, why not try to keep the ball rolling.  And now just this week, the party that removed all of the protections put in place by President Roosevelt after the great depression, protections that were designed to prevent another depression, have blocked placing controls back on Wall Street to prevent what we just went through from happening again.  Not once, but three times.  And not because attempts to work together have failed, but it really looks like hard voting along party lines indicates the spoiled brats are not play well together again.  OUR WAY OR NO WAY!!!  

The reason I keep trying to stir up the waters and get you all to be sending in your comments instead of just chewing on my ear when you see me out, is that there are a couple of very serious items concerning the gay community that are ripe for action right now.  And continuing to fall into the same old political party side taking just will not do.  The overwhelming vast majority of Sheepicans are NOT the ones who benefit from all the big business slanted deals the party makes on the hill.  You will most likely never see the upper side of $250.000 dollars a year where you will be able to take advantage of the tax loopholes that they protect so dearly so stop fooling yourselves with blind allegiance to a party that does not care about anything but your vote.  And as for the Demabrats, who are you kidding?  Do we as a society need to take care of our fellow man when he or she needs a helping hand?  Yes, absolutely.  But the bleeding heart crap has created a mentality of not welfare or assistance, but one of profit sharing.  We all know of how many cases on assistance that really have no business taking free money.  

Guys, we all pay for this.  And unless we get our heads out of our collective asses we will never be able to show a united front to ALL the politicians of any party when it comes to equality issues like Prop 8 in California or ending the ban.  We need to support the president’s efforts not because he is one party or another but because he is right.  And we also need to end support of any initiative from either party if it is wrong.  

You see, they, the political party boss’ that don’t give a rats ass about you as an individual have successfully divided most of us into two separate groups.  Sheepicans or Demabrats.  You have forgotten that “We The People” as a united group actually have more power than all of them but together.  10 percent of 300 million is 30 million votes.  That’s enough to shape the future without being told how to vote by some idiot on the tube or radio.
