A change will do you good

Hey guys.  Those who read the magazine a lot will see that we were serious when we started talking last issue about packing our issues with new features and more short items each issue.  We've actually got more features in this issue than we have had in many of our other recent issues. We obviously will continue to tweak things, but we're certainly on our way.

One of those sets of tweaks is we've rolled out our redesign.  It's not a drastic one; we've been slowly evolving the magazine for the past few years now.  However, the new look allows a lot of the extra fluff to get out of the way, allowing us to pack that much more in.  More stories, more pictures. As always, we encourage you to share your feedback by E-mailing us at keepintouch@metroline-online.com.

Many of you had noticed that our website and Facebook pages hadn't been updated in awhile.  That's changed too.  You can now see our latest issues again at www.metroline-online.com (our December and Early January issues are already live as you see this, along with 35 or so other issues from the past two years) and we'll continue to add more as time permits.  We also have begun uploading our Out & About photos to Facebook for the first time.  They'll still be on our website, but we know a lot of you like to look at pictures on Facebook as well, so be sure to check them out. And in case you're worried, Out & About will return next issue.

When Josh began implementing the changes in our Early January issue, one thing he promised me is we'd debut a new feature every issue until we ran out of either space or ideas.  We're not out of space just yet - we'll be doing some more tweaking next issue - but we do have our next idea. Longtime readers will remember our popular voice of the people feature, Vox Pop.  Well, we're updating it with a 21st Century twist.  We'll post the question in the magazine, on Facebook and on our website, and the next issue, we'll print the best answers we received.  That makes it even easier to participate!

We hope these changes keep Metroline a fun and interesting magazine to read.  As always, let us know what you think, as you're the reason why we're still here.  In the meantime, I'll see you Out & About.
